Hermann vs Byfield

On the 16th of April at the legendary York Hall in Bethnal Green Hellraiser Promotions proudly presents a bout between slick unbeaten prospect Asinia Byfield (8-0) and the heavy handed Arthur Hermann (16-2) in what is expected to be a definitive crossroads fight for both men.

After defeating Mario Petrov at the start of the year Byfield will be looking to add to his impressive string of back to back victories by taking a big step up in class against an opponent who has conquered these shores on multiple occasions.

The Reading native however, is unlikely to be intermediated as he continues to climb up the junior middleweight ladder displaying precision punch accuracy and a steady improvement in each bout. His last three performances collectively show the speed, agility and technical prowess the young 26 year old pocesses but this next chapter in his career should prove the toughest yet.

With 13 knockouts in 18 fights, Hermann was on a high following a five fight winning streak but was surprisingly beaten in a tough unanimous decision lost, to the unbeaten Polish amateur standout Kamil Szeremeta, in a fight the Kazak national was tipped to win.

His hand was not raised on that occasion but with impressive victories under his belt over the likes of Alexey Ribchev, Jason Ball and Laszlo Haaz, the heavy handed knock out artist will be looking to steer his career back on track with a victory over Byfield. For Hermann this will be his eighth fight in the UK since becoming a resident and he will be looking to stamp his authority on the fight early with his high pressure, hard hitting style.
