Tony Milch To Fight For Southern Area Title

The mouth watering October 14th match up between Archway’s 13-0 unbeaten super welterweight Tony “2 Guns” Milch and 17-1 Matt McCarthy just got even more juicy. The fight will now be contested for the Southern Area super welterweight title, recently vacated by another Hellraiser fighter, Asinia Byfield. Already top of a busy show, honours will now be available for the victorious fighter on the headline act at York Hall.

Understandably, Tony is delighted to get a shot at a belt he’s a long affinity with and desire for, “boxing for the historic Southern Area title is amazing. I grew up watching some top Southern Area fights and now I’m going to be in one myself. Bring it on!”

Hellraiser boss Mickey Helliet said, “this is a great opportunity for Tony, I’m very happy to be able to offer him the chance to fight for this prestigious belt. I’m pleased his hard work has brought him to this point, and I’m also pleased that we’ll be keeping the belt in the Hellraiser stable when he wins it!”

Matt McCarthy has a fantastic record will be coming confident of winning himself, and this fight already had “small hall humdinger” written all over it. With loads of other Hellraiser fighters in well matched bouts, expect Maelstrom to live up to its name!

Phil “Quicksilver” Bowes has recently signed a management deal with Hellraiser, and is promising a more aggressive style after his controversial English title loss to Glenn Foot. Also on the bill are unbeaten fighters Onder Ozgul, Konrad Stempkowski, Tony Buttigieg and Jamie Hughes.
